The Leadership Academy / Summer Camps

This is our approximately 12 weeks of summer camp programs that will award our weekly campers with a Leadership Academy certificate of completion. Youth come from youth groups, schools, etc. and meet Jesus in a very real way. Bible study, worship, prayer and meditation nurture spiritual growth. The high and low element ropes course, caving, hiking, etc. allow for maximum practical leadership development.

Fall, Winter and Spring Retreats

Head Waters Lodge is available for youth, men’s and women’s retreats year-round.

The Doulos Experience

‘Doulos’ is the Greek word for ‘bondservant’. Thus, this is a two to four week program for youth (ages 13-18) who are ready to step beyond the camp experience and learn Christian servant-hood. This is a small-group discipleship program laced with practical service in the ministry at Head Waters Lodge.

The Wilderness Bible Institute

This is a one to four year program. WBI is designed for people of all ages (but with a youthful heart) to come and live in Head Waters, serve half the time in ministry, while studying for their respective degrees. Students may take WBI classes in Bible from visiting pastors and teachers, to earn a certificate of completion in Bible. They may also take classes online from a whole host of colleges and universities which may include, but are not limited to, Calvary Chapel Teachers College, Liberty University, Moody Bible Institute, Calvary Chapel Bible College, and really most other online colleges or universities. This is a 21st century model for degree completion. Folks may earn a bachelor’s, masters or doctoral degree while serving in Head Waters.
